MARK ABEL SHINES AT 2ND OFFICIAL HARARE ARCHERY CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

Mark Abel who is an Archer from Malawi finished 1^st position in 2^nd official Harare Archery Club Championship held at Couteney Selous School on Sunday 11 of June, 2023. Congratulations to Mark Abel. Abel scored 517 points

Speaking during welcoming ceremony Captain John Kaputa who is Secretary General for Malawi Olympic Committee said that, this achievement it means a lot for Archery in Malawi.

“This achievement it means the starting point for Archery. That’s first step, we now have an athlete who can groom, who we can concentrate on, who we can develop to prepare the athlete for Olympic Games 2024 in France” said Kaputa.

He further thanked Zimbambwe for inviting Malawi

In His remarks Mark Abel said the games where good despite strong wind challenges.
