The Malawi Olympic Committee (MOC) Medical Commissioners, Junier Bamusi and Hape Tembo, are currently in Dakar, Senegal, attending the IOC Advanced course for NOC Team Physician from 2 to 8 November 2025.
The prestigious program, organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), brings together medical professionals from across Africa to enhance their expertise in sports medicine, athlete health, and Olympic medical standards.
Through this intensive course, Bamusi and Tembo are gaining advanced knowledge and practical skills to strengthen the medical support system for Malawi’s athletes, ensuring they compete in safe and optimal conditions at both regional and international levels.
The MOC congratulates its Medical Commissioners for their dedication and commitment to advancing sports medicine and promoting athlete welfare in Malawi.
