The Malawi Olympic Committee (MOC) successfully conducted its 2025 annual review and 2026 planning meeting in Mangochi, officially closing the year’s activities and programmes while setting the stage for the year ahead.
The meeting provided a platform for reflection on achievements, assessment of challenges, and review of the implementation of various initiatives undertaken throughout 2025. It also facilitated preparations for 2026, with priorities and strategies outlined to guide the Committee’s activities and programmes.
Key discussions focused on strengthening operations, enhancing service delivery to affiliates and stakeholders, and aligning future plans with MOC’s strategic objectives. The meeting brought together the Executive Board and staff of the Malawi Olympic Committee under the leadership of President Honourable Jappie Mhango, who emphasized the importance of collective reflection, accountability, and forward planning in advancing sport development in Malawi.
