The Malawi Olympic Committee celebrated Olympic Day 2026 at Chibanja Community Ground in Mzimba under the global theme “Let’s Move.”
The celebrations commenced with a 5km fun run and various sporting activities, engaging the community in fitness and unity. The highlight of the day was a football match featuring veterans and the youth, showcasing inter generational spirit through sport.
The event celebrated the Olympic values of excellence, friendship, and respect, while reaffirming the Malawi Olympic Committee’s commitment to promoting active lifestyles across Malawi.
